Systems & Software for High Performance Computing Research Laboratory (SysHPC)

We conduct foundational research in computer systems, software, and architectures across high performance computing (HPC) systems, parallel and distributed cloud platforms, and emerging post-Moore systems, including quantum computing platforms. Our work delivers novel runtime systems, schedulers, and resource managers to advance performance, energy efficiency, sustainability, productivity, and cost-effective computing at scale. We emphasize building new metrics, measurement tools, and artifacts that are reproducible, open-sourced, and designed for deployment.
